About: West Middlesex University Hospital

Anything else?

When going in to my Husband I have found him in servere pain asking for morphine but just getting ignored .Feeding tube going down windpipe also getting ignored, having to wait 8 hours before getting a exray before the tube was then removed. I was told the following day that they could not feed him by tube as he had pulled it out. I was there all the time and know this to be untrue. Asked the doctor what dosage of Pregabalin he was on as the neurolagist had upped the medication and she said she didn:t have the time to answer my question. She then had her coat on and went home

We are most concerned to read about your current experiences related to your husband's care here. Having shown your comments to our Deputy Director of Nursing we would urge you to make contact with a member of staff urgently so we can investigate this. You can ask to speak to the ward manager or the matron in charge of the ward that your husband is on. Alternatively you can speak to someone in confidence via our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) - 020 8321 6261 / pals.service@wmuh.nhs.uk
