About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

Anything else?

Initial doctor looked at me like I was faking, he then brought another doctor whom later diagnosed me with Bells Palsy, I was told to look it up on internet for more information.

The doctor then disappeared and a nurse returned and iI was given a course of medicine which did not contain enough tablets for the full course, nor was I told that I would need to visit the hospital pharmacy to obtain more.

I was sent on my way with no further information or documentation, or any advice on being fit for work or driving etc.

The doctor called me 24hrs later and I was told I needed an urgent MRI scan and that someone would be calling me shortly to arrange. Now, 2 weeks on and 3 phone calls from myself, still no-one has called me back to book my urgent MRI!

For someone who rarely uses the NHS, (I normally tough out my illnesses) this is exactly the reason why! I'm no wiser or better from our encounter!
