"So grateful for advocacy from Dylan"

I was living in a council flat that was saturated with damp in an area rife with drug abuse and antisocial behaviour. In short, it was unfit for human habitation.

Dylan was an excellent advocate and kept me informed at all stages of my attempt to move out. It seemed the council were really dragging their heels. Finally they accepted the flat was not fit to live in and “decanted” me to another place which was better but only consisted of one room, kitchen and bathroom so I was downsized without any chance of refusing. I was very glad to move however!

The advocacy Support Cymru service is indispensable for those who need help in negotiating with the council and other landlords, I am extremely grateful to them, and especially Dylan – thank you!
