"Chaos"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

My son was admitted and quite frankly, the right hand didn't seem to know what the left hand was doing. His treatment options changed significantly over 2 days and he was eventually discharged a day later than he was told following the doctor's failure to record things. There were incidents of lights being left on by nurses until 11.30 p.m. and a general air of disregard for the wellbeing of patients.

We are very sorry for the experiences you and your son have had and thank you for raising these concerns. If you would like to contact me on 07921545671 I would be happy to get some details from you for a full investigation to occur, so that improvements can be made.

Kind regards

Julia Carter, matron, medical CBU
