My dad was admitted to Derby Royal Hospital last week because his GP was worried about the circulation in his swollen ankles and the potential risk of gangrene. From the ambulance crew who attended to him, to A&E, Medical Assessment and then to Ward 306, his care has been fantastic. He has been given a thorough medical MOT including checks on his heart, lung function, x rays and scans. The hospital is new and clean and the ward bays are nice and quiet and not too big. Dad has slept well and heard no noise at night. He thinks the food is great and better than my mum's cooking. Thanks to all the staff for looking after him and making his stay so comfortable.
"Thorough care and food better than my mum's"
