I had the pleasure of visiting the Blood Collection centre on what was an extremely busy day. On my arrival I was number 82 with 54 in front of me to be seen. The waiting time for me to reach my turn was only 1 hour. Quite a few people commented that they had never seen the centre as busy as this ever before. When I did get to the collection room I was met with a friendly smile and a warm greeting by the clinical staff. As I am from Australia I find this waiting time to be insignificant especially when the service and care shown were of a high standard.
