About: Hillingdon Hospital

Anything else?

I've visited this hospital on three occasions since moving to the area in January, through ongoing investigations and pregnancy. First visit was the breast clinic, very nice receptionist, but when I had someone examine me they just left me once they have finished unclothed and failed to say I was done and could go!!! Talk about dignity!

2nd occasion was an eptopic scare. I visited my GP one morning, it took him 25 minutes to finally get through to epu who took my name and number but didn't bother to ring me back. My GP then chased them up and again got no answer, wrote me a referal letter and sent me to A&E! Sat in A&E for 3 hours was told upon arrival the wait time I needed to have blood done, a urine sample and a pregnancy test even though I told her I was 11 weeks pregnant! Anyway did the urine sample and handed it to the nurse to get the response "oh don't give it to me, ill loose it, keep hold of it for 2 hours!" Absolute joke! Finally saw a doctor who told me I had to stay over night incase my tubes ruptured, went up to the ward EAU got given a bed in an all female bay (4beds) which absolutely stunk of urine! My husband went home got my stuff in the meantime I had an internal examination and got told I could go home!

Went to epu the next day, car park was mad busy and I had to leave my husband. I asked if there was anyway they could delay my scan 5 minutes as hubby was on his way in. They said no. I got taken in to the ultrasound room asked them again by which time my hubby had text saying he'd parked and was running in. They again said no scanned me and within 1 minute I was out if the room to find hubby had just walked in. The nurse said to him "arrr you've just missed your baby!" Very angry by this point!

Went again today for hearing problems got the the place to be told I was in the wrong place. The woman on reception was very rude when I asked her where the place was that I needed to be, like I should know the hospital like the bak of my hand. I was 25 minutes early. I was trying to find the place for 25 minutes people sending me all sorts of ways and dead ends! Have up in the end.

Staff are very rude, the hospital is old, dirty and needs a lot of attention. This is not a caring hospital what so ever. Please do not use it if you have an alternative. I will now be transferring all my care elsewhere!!!!!!
