What I liked

Arrived at the hospital in the day-case ward for an operation to have grommets inserted. Was instantly given a bed on the ward which is a lot better than other hospitals in the area where you simply get a chair to wait (Torbay Hospital). Within an hour all the relevant people had been to see me and asked what they needed to ask for the operation, I had been given my pre-med and was all ready for the surgery. After just an hour and a half wait I was taken to the theatre and woke up all done in 45 minutes. After I was in quite a lot of pain but staff acted quite quickly and gave me the relevant drugs until the pain died down, was given something to eat and drink and then left to leave after final tests. Was very pleasant and the staff made me feel very happy.

What could be improved

Everything was perfect on the day!
