What could be improved

Believe there should be more observations especially when an elderly patient is very confused about being in hospital. Also when suffering from dementia he should be supervised when given his medication to make sure he takes it. On a recent visit could not find any one to assist me when my dad was vomiting. He badly needed emollients applied to his skin as he has very dry skin but this obviously had not been done.Really felt he was not being monitored enough to check his well-being.
