What I liked

Had an operation for fractured femur after

a road accident and felt i was treated

very well at all times. I could not fault the

level of care,everything was explained to

me regarding the op and what to expect

afterwards,and found the staff most pleasant and helpful.

There was no wait for a bed either.

While it was a difficult period for me i was

never left in pain,and if i rang the bell for

any reason a nurse soon appeared.

All in all Exeter has a fine hospital i think.

What could be improved

Clearly there were times when the ward

was very stretched for staff,but that's not

a complaint,more a fact of life.
