I had my second child at the PRU after a horrendous experience of having my first daughter at Queen Elizabeth's. I actually went into early labour and went to the PRU and had the best care. Very kind and understanding midwives who kept me informed every step of the way and explained everything to me. I felt in control due to the information given and was consulted at every stage (they were trying to keep the baby in me as long as possible as she was too early). I can not thank the staff enough and my daughter was delivered safely and I was helped to breastfeed her. Fantastic care, shame all hospitals aren't like this.
