"spontaneous pnemothorax"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

Anything else?

The service from the surgeons and a few nurses was outstanding, but quite a few nurses didnt care for me in the way they should have done, I was left for 3 hours without water, 6 hours without pain killers.... and the cleanliness wasnt 100%, for example the thermometer the nurses used for my obs wasnt ever cleaned... I also had a nurse take a blood sample from me wrongly, he scratched my artery which has resolved in a huge bruise still on my arm a month after I left hospital.

We are so sorry to hear about your experience in our hospital and the fact that you were left waiting for pain relief and were concerned about cleanliness. The information has been passed to the Matron for respiratory medicine and you would be welcome to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on pals@nnuh.nhs.uk
