I attended with a post surgery problem, I had suffered visual loss and was very anxious.

The 2 sisters on duty were extremely professional, knowledgeable and reassured me enormously. Nothing was a bother.

They arranged for me to attend the RVI that very day, where I was given emergency treatment.

This department is a credit to the NHS staff.

I am sorry to hear about the difficulties you have been having with your eyesight after surgery. I understand what an anxious time this must have been for you and I am so glad you have received all the help you needed to rectify this.

We are very grateful when patients take the time to give us feedback. It gives us the opportunity to pay a lot of attention to the things that really matter. We are understandably proud of our teams and their commitment to provide the best possible care at all times. Your kind words on their professionalism and compassion will mean a great deal to the nurses at the minor injuries unit – we will make sure they are passed on.

I do hope you continue to recover well & regain full strength in the months ahead.
