About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Community diabetes service

(as the patient),

I went to a DESMOND event at Kirkburton Health Centre for diabetes management. The event was run by Mandy and Alison, one was a dietician and the other was a health professional.

The event was very helpful, interesting and informative – surprising how much sugar is in everyday food. Learned as much from the other people there about different doctor’s opinions about how much to test and different medication. DESMOND is well worth going on. I’d like to thank Mandy and Alison and also Claire Flowers for organising it.
