Early in the morning I was washing a crystal glass which fractured unexpectedly and cut deeply into a knuckle. My wife stemmed the blood flow and delivered me to the unit. I was seen promptly and courteously; the wound was examined, cleaned, x-rayed and expertly stitched all within an hour. Exceptional service.

Not a great start to the weekend, but it's getting better.

One observation - We needed to find out about opening hours, and the Hospital web site is apparently not available. Not a good place to be when panic has set in!

It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects their hard work and dedication. It was reassuring to hear that you thought our Minor Injuries Staff were courteous and that you were seen promptly. I have passed on your kind words to Altrincham General and the staff involved on the day. However, we are sorry to learn that your experience was not as positive as we would have hoped due to opening times being unavailable on the website. It is important to us that comments are heard and seen as an opportunity for the service to make changes and improvements wherever possible. In response to your comment, we are looking at reviewing our website and will ensure that opening and closing times are included. Your concerns have also been raised directly with the Information Technology (IT) department so that we can address them and ensure that others don’t experience the same issues.
