I have recently had to contact the consultant's secretary, on a number of occasions on behalf of my elderly mother. My mother is in the early stages of dementia which had led to arrangements being changed. The secretary is always extremely helpful and polite and has demonstrated a great deal of patience in dealing with our queries.

When you have a relative with dementia, people can often become impatient and and made you feel that you are a nuisance. This is very difficult for relatives who are already in a stressful and sad situation.

A big thank you to the secretary for her understanding and support.
