"No one likes hospitals, but in ..."

About: Salisbury District Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

No one likes hospitals, but in my own experiences including a long term eye problem, I have received nothing but the best from Salisbury. My "emergency" experiences with the eye dept especially, including the Queens Jubilee weekend in 2002, when a member of the consulting team was called in to attend to me, and then having to open the eye dept to attend to me with the equipment, I have never been felt to feel that I should not have been there. I have always found the hospital staff to be very kind and polite.

A friend of mine was awaiting a hysterectomy from R U H in Bath and within the choice of hospital, she chose Salisbury (after she had already known my more than one good experience), and she was afterwards in the same view as me, and said that she wished that she had gone to Salisbury before, and having not been in hospital herself before, said that she would not be frightened to go to Salisbury again.

What could be improved

There are probably things that could be improved, but as I have "luckily" not had to visit recently, I do not have any comment.
