"Nurse availability at surgery"

About: East Riding of Yorkshire PCT

(as the patient),

After the doctor recommended a blood retest in one week I found that the nearest appointment to see a nurse at the Calvert practice was over 3 weeks. Yes thats correct three weeks. This nurse appointment issue has happened before and I am not satisfied with the situation at my local practice

I rang for another appointment for a closer date to the one my doctor advised. This was at the octagon 5 miles away, which I attended. Nurse staffing levels on asking were not a problem So I ask why should I at 66 years of age have to travel so far for my bloods to be taken. Yet this "area" was well served
