"Not enough care by doctors"

About: North Manchester General Hospital

Anything else?

Doctors did not have a good grasp of English when I described symptoms. Tests were not run for 4 days, when I saw a consultant for the first time. Then I was rushed to theatre as I had a ruptured, gengrenous appendix. I was sent home too early, even though I told the doctor I felt unwell. 48 hours later ambulance brought me back in due to serious infection and I had to undergo emergency surgery again. Ended up with a drain from my stomach for 2 months. Hospital forgot to send an appointment to have the drain removed so I had to go on to the ward and ask a nurse to remove it.

I went through the formal complaints procedure and got a letter 6 months later!
