Anything else?
I have never been to A&E in the UK before, and I hope that I will not be returning!! I spent from 5.30pm - 2am before I actually received any proper treatment for my ailment. I was left in a freezing cold corridor on a stretcher, in cramped conditions as it was so busy. I was moved around constantly, and felt as though I was in the way! I was surrounded by drunks, police and general nut cases. Nobody really communicated to me what was going on, and I felt like I was the only person there who actually had a genuine accident! Eventually I was moved to my own curtained off room at around 10pm, and onto a proper bed. I was seen by the nurse from A&E around 2 hrs later - She is the reason I am writing this review - She was caring, gentle and kind and made me feel very relaxed in her presence. She arranged for me to be moved to the appropriate ward for my accident quickly and efficiently. Thank you.
