I celebrated Valentine's day by having two fingers mauled by a dog. The Casualty Dept were excellent. I was seen in 15 minutes, x-rayed (I waited about 10 mins) and the wound irrigated. The staff then photographed my fingers & sent it to the royal victoria who arranged an appointm,ent for me to have stitches the next morning.

Every member of staff was helpful, friendly and informative.

I was particularly impressed by the short waiting times.
