"Five Stars and a Gold Rosette"

About: Bradwell Hospital

Anything else?

I went to the Audiology Clinic at Bradwell the other day for my 3-year hearing check-up. I was met, bang on time, by a charming and smilingly cheerful young lady who proceeded to give my ears, what seemed to me, to be the most thorough testing they’d ever had. At the end of it, she showed me my audiograms and pronounced my hearing loss to be ‘on the poor side of moderate’ and produced two models of hearing aid, either of which, she said, would be suitable. I picked the ‘dinkiest’ pair, and then, after showing me how to fit them, clean them, and adjust them, to my amazement, proceeded to programme them, there and then, to fit my pattern of hearing loss! I walked out of there one very happy bunny, with almost ‘invisible’ hearing aids that worked much better than the old ones. Many, many thanks.
