Having had a stressful first pregnancy, labour and post natal period, I was so thankful for the staff at Kettering Maternity Unit for a lovely straight forward yet very quick labour using only gas and air! I was seen in the morning had my beautiful baby in the afternoon and able to go home in time for Ant and Dec! My midwives were fantastic and I could of done it without them. The student who delivered me was wonderful and will be a great midwife, and the midwife in charge of her was amazing and kept me going, thank you! It was also really nice that the sister in charge came in to see me as my baby's heart dropped a few times and she was so supportive and they all kept me inform and up to date! Any one who is having a baby should definitely consider Kettering labour ward!
