Anything else?
Having visited A and E last week I felt compelled to write a review about the awful treatment I received. Being 26 weeks pregnant and having fallen over I was expecting the hospital to treat both my swollen ankle and to check my baby over. The doctor on duty refused to check my baby and even went as far as implying I was a time waster for suggesting he do so. we were spoken to in such a vile manner that left me shaken and very distressed. Finally, having been to complain we were sent to the maternity unit where the midwives were lovely and caring, but understaffed with no doctors to be seen. The staff handover in the afternoon also meant that we were forgotten about and left in a cubicle alone with no idea of what was going on for over 6 hours. 10 hours in pain and distressed in a hospital, with no idea what was happening meant I left without having seen another doctor. Does not fill me with confidence for the birth :-S
