Anything else?
An earlier (November) gastroscopy to check on a possible ulcer had been, to my surprise, reviewed and I was invited to a check up to see whether there was a vein problem in my gullet which would be indicative of a liver problem. Fortunately that was not the case.
I had been very satisfied previously with my care, with thorough explanations of the procedure and its results. I was treated throughout with kindness, respect and courtesy.
What has really impressed me is that a review of my first examination was carried out, that a potential issue identified and that I had the opportunity of a second examination. I am naturally relieved that it proved to be a false alarm, but I remain impressed over the degree of care.
i have found NNH an exemplar institution and would commend it to the rest of the NHS and beyond.
