"more information needed"

About: Fairfield General Hospital

Anything else?

I was given eye drops which dilate the eye, this wasnt explained until I asked.

I was told it could take a couple of hours for them to wear off, 4 hours later still the same.

I couldnt find any eye clinic open at 3pm in the afternoon, the telephone operator from Pennine Trust had to find me an eye doctor at Oldham to speak to I was then informed that it could take a couple of days to wear off. Actually wore off by the next day. It would help if the patients could leave with either the correct information or a written leaflet explaining this.

Extremely busy department, no explanation by the nurses why they were asking patients do read an eye chart, explanations needed throughout.
