Anything else?
I have been under the care the Consultant of this dept for a few years now and his treatment of me & management of my condition has been excellent, I have complete confidence in his medical judgement, have always been treated with dignity and courtesy and had my treatment and condition explained to me, simply, fully and coherently. The respiratory nurses (in the hospital and at Houghton Regis) have also been excellent. The nursing staff at the clinic are helpful, kind and courteous.
My only negative comment would be that the waiting area is very small and patients often spill out into the hallway while there is little room for wheelchair users. Further negative comments would be about the weight machine which is 1) very public 2) sited in such a way that makes it almost impossible for the user to support themselves. As until recently I attended the clinic on crutches or with my walking stick this made using it very awkward,.
