Whilst I found the nurses over worked and helpful, I was disappointed to find that patients were left lying in their own blood on beds, patients collapsed regularly on ward with some staff taking little or no attention, some patients had repeated chest pains on beds in wards with no means of summoning the nurse. However, I found that some patients were sent home with chest pains from wards at the hospital whilst awaiting the Telemetry staff to fit them for a test. I also found that Cardiac Doctors could not agree on patient care and disagreed over ECG results. Would I recommend Coronary Care at DMH, no.
