"My recent stay in ward cg 220 for chest pains"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital

(as the patient),

I was admitted last Thursday with severe chest pains... I have never been to your hospital before, in fact I didn't even know about it, when I have needed hospital care for my lungs it has always been Stafford, where I have always been treated well and have never had any need to complain, , so when I was told by the ambulance paramedic I had to go to Stoke, I thought ok whatever, but I was scared of the unknown as well as being in considerable pain.

I need not have worried, as from the moment I was taken into A&E I was in good hands, later I was taken to cardio ward 220 room 21, where my care continued,

I have to congratulate your hospital, the staff were all amazing, and I hope you will pass on my thanks to all concerned on the Thursday & friday of last week, from the time I arrived to the time I left I had excellent care, and if or when I am admitted to your hospital in the future I won't be so scared.

From the porters, nurses, etc to MR Morley Davis, I say Thank you, we always read about faults at hospitals but never hear any praise, UNTIL NOW that is.

Regards.

Dear nanny7,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of visiting University Hospital of North Staffordshire.

It is very rewarding to hear that the high standards we set ourselves are leading to positive patient experiences.

We really appreciate your kind comments, which I will share with all staff involved.
