My mother lives an hour away from the hospital and today knowing that my mother could not get there prior to 5.30 I called (as i live in Devon) to try and get the results of my fathers results (ct scan) he was in Harry Secombe Ward to be told a doctor would speak to my mother on arrival. On arrival my no one was available to advise test results - the doctors went home at 5pm and were told they should have there sooner!! my son managed to find a doctor walking in the corridor and asked him he replied was my father had dementure and it was left to him to explain this to my mother and whilst doing so they biought my fathers tea and placed on his tray next to a bottle of urine, in the end my son had to go and request they move the urine !!!

and please could you put renal in the department list below!!
