We phoned to make an OOH appointment and were offered an early morning appointment in mid March. The OOH provider then called us to rearrange the time to mid afternoon.
We arrived 10 minutes early at the OOH practice and were told we would have to wait for 13 appointments to be seen before our appointment which would take about one and a half hours.
Why give an appointment time and then not commit to it? My son is recovering from a serious road accident. He received 9 major fractures in February so he is at an early stage in his recovery.
To be asked to wait for over one and a half hours seems entirely unacceptable. An appointment with a 10- 15 minute variable is acceptable but over an hour is not. This is bureaucratic incompetence. Sort it out, I want an apology.
"Poor appointment making"
