I recently underwent hip replacement surgery staying in De La Mare and Beckett Wards. At all times I was treated with the utmost consideration by everyone in the surgery,nursing, physio and ancillary staff teams. The standard of professionalism exhibited by everyone was most impressive. The care I received was both kindly and considerate. I was particularly impressed with the trouble taken to explain everything to me in detail and even some of the less pleasant procedures were carried out with infinite patience and concern.

The great tradition of this country's NHS is quite clearly very safely guarded in De La Mare and Beckett Wards at St Albans City Hospital.
