Anything else?
I was unable to find a wheelchair for the elderly relation that I brought to outpatients, the relation had recently sustained a fall and had very limited mobility, I looked high a low around the site, but the only one I could find was being pushed by the porter on duty. I asked the porter if he knew where I could find one but he told me that he didnt know of a location of another one either. I then returned to outpatients to see if aunty was ok and it was then suggested that I ask the nurse in outpatients for a porter to return aunty back to the car. The porter turned out to be the porter I had seen previously. Does Leighton Hospital only have 1 wheelchair available on site? What happens when someone with asthma arrives at the hospital and is in urgent need of a wheelchair? It would be useful to have the information about he lack of wheelchairs available to others so alternative arrangements could be made.
"elderly relation to outpatients- non existent..."
