There should be better communication with the patients in the outpatients dept if there is going to be a significant wait . It may be the norm to run over time but the patients don't know that. I had a wait of 60 mins after my appt time. When I asked politely I was addressed with hostility. It should be clearly indicated on the notice board if there is going to be a long wait. Also as well the outpatient staff could be a bit more friendly and approachable.
