Visited on a Saturday for minor surgery via local anesthetic at the day surgery - ward 20. From start to finish i was very satisfied with my visit. Before the opp myself and partner met with the nurse, surgeon and anaesthetist to discuss the procedure: and they put my mind at rest. I was even introduced to some new music from the surgeon! The ward was very relaxed but at the same time very professional.The nurse kept waiting patients updated, with a rough guide to when they would go to theatre. I was put at ease and the whole procedure was as painfull as could be. Even got a lovely cup of coffee and toast after the opp. Before I left the ward the nurse spoke with me again to explain the after care etc... and hand over medication.Would definately recomend Bishop Hospital to family and friends. Thanks very much.
