"Making an Appointment with a GP"

Its been a problem for a long time trying to get an appointment at our local surgery and they are wondering why so many patients are moving to the other centre.

For a start one can attend, and you have to be early or you can ring an 0844 tel number. I rang yesterday as soon as the lines opened at 8. 00 waited a few minutes, was told I was 1st in queue then to be told all appointments had gone at the Sawley surgery. So I rang again trying to get into Moir, I was 10th in queue waited on line for 17minutes to be told all appointments had been taken. One has to think 3weeks ahead of illness and book one of the few pre bookable appointments. Its disgusting.
