"The heart failure nurse at Locala"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Heart failure team

(as the patient),

I am visited by the community nurse David Furnley. He is brilliant! He’s so good that he should have been a doctor, not a nurse. He has a great bedside manner. I always feel lots better once he’s been. He does my blood pressure, oxygen and even takes blood – he gives me the full work up!

I had to go to hospital, as I didn’t realise how ill I was, but thanks to the regular visits and check ups from David, I don’t need to go back – as he makes sure I’m ok at home. His care is so important, I couldn’t do without it. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for taking the time to place your comments on the Patient Opinion website. I will ensure your comments are passed onto David.

Our specialist nurses pride themselves on delivering a comprehensive service. Their advanced clinical skills enable them to assess patient's needs and ultimately help patients to monitor /manage their own long term health conditions.

I am very pleased you feel you have benefitted.

Your views are very important to us, as it enables us to assess the service we deliver and if necessary change services to meet patients needs and expectations

Thanks
