I was a patient on ward 20 at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary for the treatment of bowel cancer.
Finding out I had cancer was very hard to accept, but with lots of support from family, friends, colleagues, and first-class treatment, it was made so much easier for me to accept what was happening to me.
I also had excellent support after treatment from all staff at the hospital, so thank you to all concerned.
