"love/hate relationship with Derriford Hospital"

About: Derriford Hospital / Accident and emergency Derriford Hospital / Older people's healthcare

(as the patient),

I am 88 in two months and I feel my views are outdated. However, no on appreciates the NHS more than I - the sisters are marvellous.

My experience of hospitals has been 1) two years ago when I had an emergency admission with pneumonia - and came out with a punctured lung. 2) last November when I was admitted with a stroke and came out with norrovirus which took some getting over. This is Derriford which I now have a love/hate relationship. My GP has always given me the best of understanding and back up.

Good afternoon

I note from your message that your recent experiences at Derriford Hospital have left you with mixed feelings. I would be very happy to listen to your experiences and any concerns if you would like to speak to me. I can be contacted on 01752 439751. I was pleased to read that your GP has been very supportive.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Kind regards

Mary
