"Happy with TRAC but took 2 years from my health centre"

(as the patient),

I was very happy with the TRAC system. However it took 2 years for my health centre to make a vascular specialist request and that only happened when a friend attended the surgery and insisted something should happen as I could not get a hip replacement down until the vascular problem was resolved.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience of using the TRAC service, I am pleased to read that is was a positive one. I am sorry to read that you felt it took a long time to get the referral you needed; but I unable to answer on behalf of your GP. However, if you are willing to share some further information with me about your referral (and which GP practice you are registered with) I would be more than happy to share your comments with them. Your practice may wish to provide some more information in answer to your comments.
