Everytime i have been to this hospital what ever time day or evening there is always people smoking at the main entrance where it is clearly signed no smoking fag ends all over the place and nobody to enforce this , where are the secruity to stop this it looks terrible at the main entrance please do something about this as this is an health issue ,

We share your frustration about people smoking in the front of the hospital, and do ‘police’ the area, either through our security staff or indeed senior staff. Unfortunately our resources do not stretch to providing a constant presence in this area and we have no real powers of enforcement and rely on members of the public acquiescing to our requests not too smoke. Please be assured we are constantly seeking to minimise smoking on our premises.
