I can honestly say that my bi-lateral uni-compartmental knee replacements at the beginning of June have radically changed my life. My whole experience from outpatients, inpatient, theatre, physiotherapy etc were unbelievable. I was expertly but compassionately helped through every stage of my treatment by dedicated medical and non medical staff who treated me as an individual. I came home feeling as if I had spent 5 days at a Ladies Leisure Spa. I'd recommend every aspect of my experience, even down to having a spinal as opposed to general anaesthesia. If this hospital can be like this, then why can't the rest. Good luck to all of you waiting for knee replacements whether here or elsewhere- the initial pain IS WORTH IT .
