I went to A&E before 6 in the morning - I was the only patient there and the receptionist still asked me to see the streamer who disappeared for 20minutes. I had to wait so he can talk to me for 15 seconds and then I could go to receptionist to tell her exactly the same. What's the point of that if there's no queue? By then the queue grew and total visit took me 5 hours. The consultant was great but my problem required professional attention and the only appointmentI could get was 10 days after so I've been left in pain and discomfort for over a week. A&E should have access to other scanners not just to X-ray.

Also, they didn't have a splint that'd fit my leg so I got a rubber jones and was told not to take it off until the professional consultancy. Rubber jones for 10 days? That's impossible, especially that it got loose after few hours.

So the five hours wait was just a pointless and frustrating experience. It's not the fault of staff - they have no equipment to work on.

If you have a problem - go somewhere else.
