"My recent operation"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / General surgery

(as the patient),

I have just had an operation at Nottingham City Hospital. It was the first time I have needed a general anaesthetic, I was extremely anxious. I was treated with the utmost care and consideration and would definitely go there for treatment again. Everyone was polite, friendly compassionate, helpful and very professional. I had to stay overnight and the Harvey Ward 2 staff could not do enough for me, thank you and well done. They worked very hard during my stay. The food was good also. Would not hesitate to go there again for treatment.

It’s always nice to hear reports from patients about compassionate care. As ward manager on Harvey Ward 2, it gives me great pleasure to hear my team helped ensure your stay with us was as comfortable as possible. I’ll make sure your comments are shared with the ward team and also theatre and catering teams.
