"I’ve known nurses who do far too much work"

About: University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust

(as the patient),

It is very difficult to give 100 per cent from the doctors and nurses regarding excellent care for patients because of the workload they have.

However the experience that I have had about my care is nothing short of outstanding. Every doctor and every nurse is worth their weight in gold. I’ve known nurses who do far too much work, paper work (what a joke), running here and there. They just do not have time for patient care.

I have the utmost respect for all.

Good morning

Thank you for your very supportive comments to the nursing staff at the Trust. As with many other Trusts in recent weeks, Plymouth Hospitals have been through an exceptionally busy period with emergency admissions and we feel very proud of all our clinical and support staff.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post this message.

Kind regards

Mary
