I took my mum to 9b today for treatment, she required an injection in to her abdomen, the area had both man women in close proximity. There were only portable screens to protect her privacy. There was gentle man right behind her, the nurse found it difffercult to pull the screens around her to give her any privacy. She then pulled the screens into the middle of the room and asked could my mum stand, and so i said no she could not, she tried once again to protect her privacy with the screens. Then asked could she slip her dress off, which my mum refused, as the privacy was totally inadequate. My mum opened a few buttons on her dress to allow the injection to be given. There just seemed to no place in the room suitable for a patient to be asked slip off there clothes for the injection to be given and allow any sort of privacy. There were 3 male patients in the room and 3 female patients.
