I have been for my second ever mammogram today & in case the previous review has given anyone a negative view I wanted to say that, although a little uncomfortable, I found that the procedure on both occasions was not at all painful & is over in less than 5 minutes - the radiographer was brilliant. Please don't let one persons bad experience put you off - everyone I know who has had a mammogram says that it's nowhere near as painful as people make out. 5 minutes discomfort is well worth it for the peace of mind this procedure gives
