"Long wait at eye infirmary"

About: Royal Eye Infirmary / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

Appointments years ago usually meant seeing the doctor at the time of said appointment. The plymouth eye infirmary is notorious for appearing to ignore any appointment time I've hand and I feel they assume I have nowhere to go other than to sit there a considerably long time. Moving to new premises I hoped meant being seen on time but no such luck. My appointment was at 10 30 I got seen by specialist 2 hours later and surely that is unacceptable..

Good afternoon and thank you for your comments. I am so sorry that you faced a lengthy wait for your recent appointment at the Royal Eye Infirmary at Derriford. I would be more than happy to speak to you if you feel able to contact me on 01752 439751 and we could then discuss how you would like to take things forward.

I do hope that we are able to speak soon.

Kind regards

Mary
