I was a patient on ward E15 at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham last month. The standard of care I received from both the medical and the nursing staff was generally good - standard of clinic care was particularly high, and most of the nurses were efficient and caring as well.
However, the auxiliary nurse made a big drama of making me sit on a covered chair on account of my HIV/Hepatitis C infection. I did not think this was necessary, and subsequently felt that I was being discriminated against.
