"depression and self harm "

About: Child and adolescent mental health (Croydon)

(as the patient),

I've been self harming for around 9 years, and have been diagnosed as being depressed for the last 12-18 months.

I've only been going to CAMHS for 2 months, and am waiting on a response from the adult services. I quite like my psychiatrist, but we don't really talk about things and feel they are quite pushy.

The receptionists are okay.

Dear Dsh707

I am pleased that you have received a diagnosis and hope that this will mean you get the appropriate treat within the Trust. It sounds like you may be moving from CAMHS to our adult services, I hope that the transition is a positive one.

Kind regards

Bill Berry
